[break]
Flametail isn't exactly the easiest cat to get along with, in fact, she's the bane of existence for many. If there is one thing about this she-cat that is easily noticeable, it is that she never ever makes shy of what she is thinking. Ever hear of the term "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Well, neither has Flametail. The she-cat is exceptionally stubborn and doesn't necessarily take no for an answer. She rides through life high on her horse and tends to play by her own rules. Flametail is something of a wild child, acting and speaking impulsively and in the heat of the moment. The warrioress has little regard for rules and often bucks authority. Her unwillingness to change and need to do things by her own way makes her exceptionally intolerant, especially when it comes to her belief in Starclan, or the lack thereof (which she had no problem making clear). [break][break]
Flametail prides herself in quick wit and a cunning nature. You'll almost never catch her tongue tied, and if you do, you'd best watch out because a storm is coming. The she-cat particularly enjoys plucking at the heart strings of toms, playing her hand at manipulation. She loves all the fun and game - the politics of love. Call her heartless, but Flametail has no intention of settling down anytime soon. She loves to have the attention of her lovers, yet strings them along until the demand more of her - in which case she's quick to get out of there.
At six moons of age, the duo would receive their apprentice name and mentors. Flamepaw, although excited to be starting a new chapter in her life, took this ceremony as a challenge. She was less concerned about her mentor's wishes and the training that would follow, and more concerned with the newfound freedoms at hand. Had you asked her, Flamepaw was already practically a warrior - she took to her own adventures and mischief, to the great distaste of her mentor. Though Flamepaw developed and independence and determinance in her soul, she would always have Ivypaw's back. The duo were certainly not a force you wanted to face, with quick minds and the sharp tongues to back them up. Both Ivypaw and Flamepaw seemed to buck the rules, though Ivypaw seemed to buck much more than that. She isolated herself from the other apprentices, making enemies and annoyances with the other apprentices. Flamepaw never questioned her - she'd always be there for her sister. But unlike Ivypaw, Flamepaw thrived in the atmosphere, she developed a fine set of flirtations and refined her wit. It quickly became a game of cleverly fitting into the crowd, and manipulating it from the very heart - this is where Ivypaw and Flamepaw began to differ.

Into warriorhood, Flametail thrived. Admittedly her track record for rebellion didn't make her the most respected of warriors, but she was proud nonetheless. Over time she noticed Ivyclaw's growing restlessness, and the step that followed were more than bewildering. Ivyclaw wanted to become a medicine cat? What? Flametail simply couldn't understand it. Sure, her sister was never all that flirtatious, and she certainly didn't want kits. But Ivyclaw would be swearing herself into an oath that banned lovers, and most of all, she was sworn to peace. Was this the same Ivyclaw Flametail had grown up with? Sure, her sister wasn't the typical warm hearted medicine cat that loved each and every soul with all of Starclan's love. Ivyclaw was a fighter! She thrived by rustling the feathers of all those other mouse-brains! That's how she had always been! And now she wanted to become one of those Starclan-loving lunatics?! Flametail was blown away, but she didn't question her sister's decisions. Eventually, Ivyclaw would go on to medicine cat name. Despite being a medicine cat, Ivytail remains one of the only cats that actively puts up with her, though Flametail is always keen on avoiding the subject of Starclan with her faith-found sibling.
appearance
Flametail is built as though a Thunderclan warrior should be, with lean and toned muscles sculpted to perfection. The she-cat isn't exactly a fragile little flower. The warrioress is lean, with a narrow ribcage and slightly larger paws. She is a short haired orange tabby she-cat with white patches cross her face, throat, chest, and paws. Flametail earned her name for the vibrant fury orange of her fur, and the feathered wisps of her tail. Standing out from her fury orange fur are her amber eyes, which can be just as expressive as that sharp tongue of hers. personality
Wild, flirtatious, disrespectful, intolerant, stubborn, cunning, manipulative, egotistic.[break][break]Flametail isn't exactly the easiest cat to get along with, in fact, she's the bane of existence for many. history
Flametail was the eldest born of two kits - just her, and Ivykit. The queen that bore them was Ashentail, the only parent figure that would be present in their lives (if you could really consider her a parent figure). Their father remained a mystery to the kits, though Flametail took it with little regard, and even less so into her warrior hood. Ashentail left the nursery as soon as she could, though she was never really cut out to be a mother. Flamekit and Ivykit weren't too bothered, for Flamekit's closest ally was always her sister. Ivykit grew to be one of the only felines that could really tolerate Flamekit's excessive personality, and Ivykit was also the only feline Flamekit sought to tolerate.
