[break]
honeypaw
thin orange and white tom with brown eyes | ||
tom | 9 moons | hostile |
shadowclan | apprentice | talkative |
[break]
appearance
[break]
The tom has orange and white patches, most notably an orange nose. While he is not small, his build is lanky or gangly at best, despite whatever act he puts on. His eyes are unremarkable: a soft brown. He has a longer than average tail, small paws and long white whiskers. His coat is slightly long and was once extremely well kept by his mother. It isn't disgusting now, but sometimes he is too lazy to wash the mud off.[break]
personality
[break]
defensive[break]
Stemming from the ridiculous femininity that is his name, Honeypaw has become increasingly and unwaveringly defensive. It is easy to push his buttons to make him become hostile about his name, sexuality, or anything in between, especially if it is personal. He is quick to lash out and bottle up if he feels provoked and it will send him into one of his introverted moods, steaming with hostility and grumbles. Honeypaw may be a little insecure about a lot of things but isn't willing to admit that, or many of his faults.
[break][break]
chatterbox[break]
Insistent chatter makes Honeypaw happy, on some occasions. While he will happily talk about most things with anyone and enjoys company and attention, he does not like everyone. If he thinks he is above someone, he will often belittle them in their conversing. He does have a more wild and excitable side to him because of his age and slight immaturity. He can hold secrets but would much rather gossip about his clanmates.[break][break]
rude[break]
Honeypaw doesn't know when to stop. There is a mental line separating what is alright to do and what isn't alright to do that Honeypaw more often than not chooses to ignore. For the most part, he can be mean when it isn't called for, leading him to not have many friends less they can tolerate his fighting personality. He has been known to purposefully and relentlessly antagonize cats about things much in the same way he feels ridiculed by his name. [break][break]
belligerent[break]
Fighting always seems to be the option for Honeypaw, regardless of the opponent. He is aware that most of his talking can get him in trouble and has, but he still continues it rather than subdue it. Similarly with fighting, he won't back down despite being the one who will undoubtedly lose. It is a mixture of thinking he still could win as well as having a reckless abandonment of his own personal safety. Because it is so easy to rile him up, it doesn't take long to get Honeypaw to take the first swing. He is a conflict seeker who thinks it'll prove his worth as a clan member.[break]
history[break]
There were four of them, Cherrykit, Honeykit, Bramblekit, and Daisykit. Some, especially Cherrypaw, say that their mother thought Honeykit looked just like a girl and that's why she accidently gave him such a girly name compared to his younger brother, Bramblepaw.[break][break]
The hostilities and interactions from the kits molded Honeypaw into the young cat he is today. The older of the two, would constantly fight, first verbally, then escalating to the physical scuffling. Cherrykit and Honeykit were thrown out of the nursery early on to give the younger kits and definitely queens, some peace and quiet. He hated his sister and was hostile towards his brother for no good reason. His youngest sister he thought, was meek. Daisykit however, died before their apprenticeship because she was sickly to which Honeypaw feels a little bad for. The constant harassment from Cherrykit led their mother to be more protective of Honeykit which of course, drove him up the wall. He spent as much time away from the nursery to get away from both females and soon began hiding where he shouldn't be to get away from Cherrykit, leading to more trouble.[break]
