[break] mintpaw [break][break] small tortoiseshell chimera cat with odd eyes. |

[attr="class","twomedicon"]
[break]
Mintpaw is a delicate she-cat who is known for being unusually small and frail. She was born very small, and has since retained her dainty stature into apprenticeship. Though she is small, she is exceptionally fast, and a strong climber. She is not bred for fighting, with thin, somewhat spider-like limbs, and little muscle density. She may have dainty paws, but her long tail provides great balance. Had she not chosen the life of a Medicine Cat, she would have made a fine hunter, but never could have withstood herself in battle.
[break][break]
Mintpaw has the unusual features of being half-black and half-orange tabby down her face. On top of this, she is odd-eyed, with a blue and a green eye. Only her face as a division of color, however. The rest of her body is a mixed--some might say mottled--mix of black and orange, much like any typical tortoiseshell. Her tail fades to black, and her chest is a little puff of white.

personality[break]
Mintpaw is perhaps one of the strongest, most no-nonsense cats alive. While she can at times have a sense of humor, she is most commonly very serious and level-headed, especially when she finds herself focused. She has a willpower that is unrivaled, and will fight to the death for her cause without hesitation. However, she can also be quite stubborn, and if she feels she is in the right, you will not be able to sway her easily.
[break][break]
Mintpaw is also known to be very protective of others, whether or not she might know them. Growing up being taunted as a two-faced feline made her tough, and she has no fear when it comes to standing up for others. When she herself is being bullied, she will often use her own words and spitfire to turn the insults back on the other cat, but if it is in defense of someone else, she goes straight to threatening.
[break][break]
Mintpaw is fiercely loyal, fiercely driven, and fiercely capable of speaking her mind. She is clever, and she knows it. She will make sure that what she says goes, so long as she has the authority to do so. When she finds herself focused in on a problem or a patient, nothing can burst her confidence, but no one can get a word in either. He stubborn, sarcastic, sometimes bitter nature affords her few friends, but she is not bothered by this in the least.

history
[break]
Mintkit was the second-eldest to be born of Copperfox and Wildpounce. Her mother, Wildpounce, was a beautiful tortoiseshell cat with stunning green eyes, and her father Copperfox was a vibrant orange tabby with deep blue eyes. Together, the two had a litter of four lovely cats. Two were orange tabbies, one was a diluted calico, and of course, there was Mintkit. From the beginning she always was quite different. Wildpounce named her kits after herbs of the earth; Alderkit, Mintkit, Boragekit, and Fernkit. The four kits grew up together and were very close, always supportive and friendly to each other. At times they teased Mintkit, calling her Twoface, but she retaliated with a variety of taunting nicknames for the rest of them, and never let it bother her much, for she found her unusual look to be beautiful.
[break][break]
Mintkit knew that she wanted to be a Medicine Cat Apprentice from the start. She was always too easily pinned down in play by her siblings, and though Fernkit was also quite small, she managed to use it to her advantage in play-fighting, a skill Mintkit never did quite grasp. Instead, she found herself down a different path when her brothers got themselves paw thorns from trying to explore the more complex reaches of the camp. She removed both and then helped the current Medicine Cat dress the wounds, and after, was instantly fascinated with the new life. When she was chosen as the next Medicine Cat Apprentice, she simply could not have been happier, and has served well in her short moon, gaining valuable experience and proving to be, although at times stubborn, very willing to learn.
