Fallenrain is generous in praise, but not to the point where it becomes obnoxious. She's also known for her ability to forgive and allow for second chances, but she tries to make it clear that she will not stand for being taken advantage of. Though she has her positive qualities, like any cat, she has her flaws. She can be too quiet, and at times becomes absorbed in her thoughts and tends to daydream every once in a while. One might be surprised to learn that Fallenrain is witty, and can come up with either really clever or really, painfully lame jokes... And does so frequently.[break][break]

As an apprentice, Fallenpaw loved to learn. She drank in every word her mentor said, taking everything seriously and practicing every technique until she was beyond satisfied. Her mentor was pleased by her sharpness, but there were some things that seemed hard for her to learn than her fellow apprentices. Simple things like the fact that she couldn't seem to stalk quietly, no matter how she tried. This left patrols irritated and reluctant to include her, especially in already-lean seasons like Leaf-bare. This hurt Fallenpaw bitterly -- even though she made fun of and laughed at herself -- and she eventually stopped trying to hold every other cat back. So she'd scrape through the snow alone whenever she could sneak out of camp, trying to move more quietly. She usually stayed out so long that her paws would feel fat with numbness and her pads would get chapped. But this intense practice payed off, and she was given the name Fallenrain -- the silence after a storm. To this day she jokes about how awful her crashing through the undergrowth was; "no better than a twoleg or a lopsided badger"! Her parents admired this resilience, as did most of her Clanmates.

A season after her warrior naming ceremony, Fallenrain was given an apprentice of her own, a hyperactive tom called Ferretpaw. Though he constantly grated on the warriors' nerves and even the other apprentices, Fallenrain was unbelievably patient, more than willing to take three times as long to do a single part of a lesson than was normally required. Eventually Ferretpaw, despondent after too much irritation directed toward him, asked why she never snapped at him, even when he didn't want to listen. Honestly surprised, Fallenrain just told him that her mentor never gave up on her, so she had no intention on giving up on him, either. From then on, she actively worked with him to find a way to turn his abundance of energy into a way that served his Clan. Eventually Ferretpaw became Ferretstorm, in honor of his untiring energy. Fallenrain stood proud as she saw this quirky cat overcome his difficulties, just as she had moons before.
appearance
[break] Though unusually tiny, Fallenrain carries herself as though she were made of liquid steel-- elegant, but strong. Her pelt is short in length and obsidian in color; all but a thin streak of white starting from the bottom of her shoulder blades and ending midway through her tail. Her eyes are the vibrant green of the leaves in Greenleaf, and shine with a certain thoughtfulness.[break][break] personality
[break] Though you wouldn't think so just by looking at her, Fallenrain has the qualities of a good leader. She leads patrols with quiet authority, placing her hunters according to their strengths so they can all be the most effective. Whenever any quarrels break out within her Clan or at Gatherings, you can be sure she'll be in the middle trying to diffuse the situation. If she is lashed out at for doing this, she maintains a calm appearance and isn't discouraged until it gets to the point where one of them turns away. She's very intelligent, but that's never enough for her. She loves to learn, and always acknowledges that there's always something about herself that she can improve. This mindset makes her a hard worker, to the point where she can be in danger of wearing herself down if she's not careful.[break][break]

history
[break] Born to the ThunderClan couple of Fierceraven and Lizardscale, Fallenkit was an only child. The week of her birth, a meteor crossed the sky, giving her mother Fierceraven high hopes for her little daughter. She was named after this hope, that one day she may be named after the falling star that heralded her arrival. The two parents could not have been more proud of their new daughter, even though she was tinier than the usual kit.[break][break]
